I was looking for a super crunchy cucumber what I got was a 6 to8 inch cuke and not crunchy enough

I was looking for a super crunchy cucumber what I got was a 6 to8 inch cuke and not crunchy enough. I had gone to an Asian sushi restaurant and experienced a cuke that was tin sliced and super crunchy and this baton variety was not.
