Cover Crop - Sorghum - Sudangrass - Viking 200 Brand Untreated Seed

This fast-growing, heat-loving annual can grow up to 12 feet tall. Mow when stocks are 3-4 feet tall to encourage tillering and regrowth, deep root growth, subsoil aeration, and prevent woodiness. Widely adapted and can withstand drought once established. Needs adequate moisture to geminate and is not frost tolerant. Viking 100 and 200 are both good choices for biomass and soil conditioning. Viking 200 has higher palatability and may be a better choice for grazing or hay.
