This vetch has great drought and frost tolerance and can keep moisture in the soil very well. Chickling Vetch grows well in lighter soils and is more grassy than other vetches. Let it grow for 60 days for full nitrogen capacity. It is recommended to lightly incorporate seeds into soil if broadcast sowing.
