Transplant: Start in spring 6 weeks before anticipated transplant date. A heat mat is recommended to reach the ideal soil temperature for germination of 70-90° F. Transplant into soil after last frost date. Bury stem up to the 1st true leaves.
Spacing: 24-36" apart in rows that are 3-4' apart.
Growth needs: Plants do not need to be trellised and can grow well pruned or unpruned. Two plants need to be grown for proper pollination.
Harvest: When fruit has filled and split husk.
Storage: At 45° F for 2-3 weeks.
